Positive Menopause

What is it?

The ‘Positive Menopause’ programme is a structured series of sessions specifically tailored to each client which helps to address the clients’ perception of the menopause and reframe it as a process rather than a collection of symptoms.

It is hoped that the sessions can help to allow women to regain control and approach this natural process in a manner which can prove more beneficial than other ‘chemical’ approaches.

How does it work?

It follows a 3-step process where the client gains the ability to easily and quickly control their hot flushes and then overcome any sleeplessness and nausea and the associated anxieties which they can cause.

Finally, the client is helped to notice how these changes can be viewed in a positive manner and to fully accept the benefits that come from this important stage in every womans’ life.

How long does it last?

The programme usually lasts between 3 and 4 sessions with each session lasting between 50 minutes and 1 hour.

Will this help with other aspects such as osteoporosis?

Hypnosis is generally targeted at areas where it can prove most beneficial. Although it is most unlikely that hypnotherapy could be shown to decrease the onset of osteoporosis or other elements of the menopausal changes taking place, it can be most useful in altering a clients perception of these changes.
